Smart Outdoor Light Monitor and Control System
Lighting that emits too much light or shines when and where its not needed is wasteful. Maximizing the use of daylight(The higher day light the less electric light needed), Light dimming, turn on lights only when needed and turn off lights when not needed are an important procedures that help saving energy consumption and extending bulb life.
The outdoor lighting control and monitor system controls outdoor lights and monitors bulb failures.This system has a Smart Antenna, connected to a mesh network, which has a wide connectivity range (1200ft) . Each light pole is connected to a controller , and each controller is connected to the antenna and to the rest of the controllers in the network wirelessly.
The system monitors bulb failures and optimizes light performance. It is compatible with DALI protocol, which is a trademark for network-based systems that control lighting, specifically for 0-10 V lighting control systems.
The antenna switches bulbs on and off based on the day time and the weather condition, and it changes light intensity based on cars’ and humans’ motion. As soon as the system detects a bulb failure the antenna sends a signal to the nearest cellular tower, which transmits data to our control system then it sends data through cloud to the cellular devices of the concerned party.
